During the 2017-2018 winter closure our hotel swimming pool has been completely demolished and rebuilt.
The new pool replaces the previous one, which dated to the 1970s, and is located in the same privileged position, directly on the lake with a wonderful view of the Borromean Islands.
Sporting a completely new design, the new pool consists of a large pool and a smaller children’s pool and a total length of around 22 metres. The large pool contains little islands where guests can sunbathe on comfy giant cushions. There are also two different whirlpool areas, one equipped with comfortable chaises longues for those who love to lie down completely in the water and allow themselves to be caressed by the bubbles, and the other with a spacious bench for those who prefer to remain sitting while enjoying their massage.
The new facility makes use of next-generation technology, including a salt water sanitising system to lessen its environmental impact. On the top floor (and this is one of the main new features) there is a lounge bar exclusively dedicated to swimming pool guests, who will be able to enjoy excellent cocktails in the shade of the large gazebo.
All furnishings were chosen from the best manufacturers on the market to guarantee maximum comfort without compromising on aesthetics.
Only guests of the Hotel may access the pool but it will be possible to hire the entire complex as a location for private events, every evening from 7.30 p.m.
The pool has been officially opened to our customers on Friday, June 15th and very soon it will welcome a surprise, but for the moment we can not reveal it.
